The
San Luis Obispo Police Officers Association exists to promote
professional law enforcement; to represent the Association members in all
matters of wages, hours and working conditions of employment; to encourage the
membership to work closely together in a spirit of mutual cooperation; to
encourage and promote good citizenship in the youth in the community; and to work
for the well being of the communities in which we live and work.
The SLOPOA is a non-profit group made up of line-level sworn police officers (patrol officers,
detectives, traffic officers) as well as non-sworn police personnel
(dispatchers, evidence technician, field service technicians). Our organization regularly
contributes money to local charities and youth
organizations in San Luis Obispo County.
